Build Your Child's Focus And Confidence

With the Power of Purposeful Play!

Former teacher at America’s top-performing school, Joni Molloy, reveals how the wealthy give their children a head start with educational games you can NOW play at home with your children.

This book isn't about drilling facts or forcing their focus. It's a breakthrough approach that uses your child's natural love of play to build a better brain – one that's confident, focused, and logically sharp.

In this book, you’ll see exactly how to:

Building Better Brains with Games: Give your child confidence, laser-sharp focus, and crystal-clear thinking in a fun way.

Teach big concepts to little “monkey minds” that can’t sit still.

Avoid power struggles as you learn the positive, present, and personal words for parenting ( Joni’s husband, Cory shares his insight as a former troubled youth, which he now uses in marketing).

Building Better Brains with Games: Give your child confidence, laser-sharp focus, and crystal-clear thinking in a fun way.

Unlock the automatic learning in children as young as 3 years old with purposeful play.

The result: Children who behave better, learn faster, and solve their own problems.

These aren’t just “nice-to-have” traits – they’re the foundation for real success in family, business, and life. These key indicators determine your child’s future happiness.

Your child is capable of so much more than you realize…

And here’s the good news: You don’t need to spend thousands on fancy tutors, expensive programs, or wait until your child has an attention span to start this.

The brain is like a muscle – and it grows stronger with the right kind of “exercise.”

And for young children, the most powerful exercise comes in the form of play.

Building Better Brains: Games That Spark Your Child’s Natural Genius will show you exactly how to give your little one the ability to tackle new challenges with confidence

Mastering life skills and tasks with sustained focus… and thinking and speaking with sharp, sound logic that catches the attention of the adults around them.

Meet The Author: Joni Molloy

From Heartache to Sharing These Life-Changing Games With You

Joni Molloy, author of Building Better Brains with Games

Hi, my name is Joni Molloy, and I’ve spent years preparing to help children reach their fullest potential.

I started as a nanny, worked with troubled youth, and then taught at an elite private school where excellence was expected.

As a teacher, I was trained differently…

I learned that while young brains don’t have the executive function to manage their behaviors, they absorb information like a sponge and will learn anything easily –

If you just present the information in fast-paced, short lessons that match their attention span.

Because this teaching style matches how their brain works, you will see results.

I substituted at another school for a day and was warned that a certain 5th-grade girl diagnosed with ADHD “couldn’t keep up…”

Yet, with my fast-paced teaching – she surprised everyone and followed along perfectly (while reading) never losing her place again.

It wasn’t magic. I just matched her brain’s processing speed, as I jumped from one exciting idea to the next, in a quick manner.

The reason most kids (especially the younger ones) don’t learn is because all too often, we adults try to force them to slow down, sit still, and “behave” – mistaking their natural energy for an inability to learn.

Young brains are incredibly powerful and adaptable. With the right approach, they rewire and grow – building confidence, focus, and self-control.

For years, I’ve been studying how the brain learns and grows…

Just because I wanted to give my children the best at-home education as possible…

Yet, my life didn’t play out as I had planned…

When I met my husband, Cory Molloy, I was already in my 30s.

And while we both dreamed of a big family, our first son, Trevor Remde Molloy, was born with Edwards Syndrome and lived with us for 112 precious days before returning to Heaven.

Then COVID nearly took Cory’s life – three weeks in the hospital, followed by years of lingering symptoms. And when we tried again, I miscarried just before 12 weeks.

From the ashes of that heartache, I refused to stay down and realized that while I might not have the large family I’d hoped for, I had something valuable to give… My years of experience teaching along with the simple games I’d learned that other parents could use with their children.

That’s why Cory and I poured our hearts into this book – gathering the best teaching and parenting strategies.

Now, the games I’ve dreamed of playing with my own children are here for your children.

Here's a Taste of What You'll Find Inside...

In the first half, we set the stage for success:

  • Chapter 1: Genius is not something you inherit genetically (ALL children can reach genius levels with the right environment)

  • Chapter 2: Why kids give up (and how to motivate without pressure, shame, or guilt)

  • Chapter 3: See exactly how all brains grow and learn (so you can set up the right learning environment)

  • Chapter 4: Learn how to teach complex ideas to short attention spans

  • Chapter 5: Harness your child’s natural reward system for lasting motivation

  • Chapter 6: Cory’s powerful strategies for positive parenting without the power struggles

Then, in the second half, the fun really begins – as we share the games themselves:

  • Chapter 7: Critical thinking and reading games that spark automatic learning (works for toddlers!)

  • Chapter 8: Whole-body math games (no attention span needed)

  • Chapter 9: Memory builders and mindfulness practices for unbreakable focus

  • Chapter 10: How to weave these into your family culture for lifelong brain-building

FAQs:

What If My Child Shows No Interest In Reading, Or Educational Games?

This is the #1 reason I am encouraging you to start while your children are young – young children model the adults around them; your toddler wants to be with you ALL of the time.

Their brain is picking up subtle cues from you. They watch and model back how you respond under stress: your facial expressions, your words, and your vocal tones. Ever since you first smiled at them as a baby, and they smiled back, they have been trying to mimic you.

If you are excited about something, they will be too.  The key is to respect their attention span.  This is the reason 90% of the games I share in the book do NOT require picking up a pencil or sitting at a desk to play.  Your child will pick up your cues and follow you – they crave your encouragement.  Give it to them, and they will learn.

If I Teach Reading Too Early, Won’t My Child Hate Reading?

Starting education early isn’t the same as FORCING your child to read.  Unfortunately, if you were force-fed your education, you’ll have to reset your attitude.  Learning to read can be easy.

Of all the children I taught (even the dropouts) not one of them hated reading – even if they didn’t like school. School hours are long and designed as more of a daycare for working parents.  Yet, our reading lessons were short and scattered throughout the day, so the children learned to read easily and naturally.

If you respect their attention span, it won’t feel forced, it will be something fun; something that they want to do and look forward to doing with you. And if you teach them to read, they will have learned the #1 skill to understand the world around them better.

Doesn’t “The Science” Say To Wait Until Age 7 To Teach Reading?

Some early education experts do recommend waiting until age 7, but it isn’t based on solid scientific evidence.  It comes from discussions in the World Economic Forum about America’s (and Europe’s) lower rankings worldwide compared to China.  They look to Finland as a potential educational model, and Finland doesn’t “start academics” until age 7.

Yet what does “starting academics” even mean in this context?  Finland doesn’t ignore academics in preschool and kindergarten, they just don’t formally test their children until the first grade. In fact, there are so many differences in Finland’s educational model that we can’t conclusively say that “waiting until 7” is or isn’t what gives them their higher rankings educationally worldwide.

Another misconception the “wait until age 7” advocates mention is that children need to PLAY MORE…

I agree!  Yet, who said that playing and academics need to be separate? Your toddler is eager to play with you, and when you consistently teach them new things in a fun way, they will always be ready to learn, because to them, you’re just playing games.

They will follow you – they crave your encouragement.  Give it to them, and they will learn.

What If These Methods Don’t Work For My Child?

Especially in America, we like to believe that every child is different…

Yes, your child is unique and comes with their own individual personality.  Yet, what is the same is that every child has a brain.  And their brain, like any other muscle, grows with use.

You wouldn’t say, “My biceps are different; they don’t respond to exercise.” Because everyone’s muscles respond to exercise. Yet how fast they grow depends on individual factors like the intensity of the effort, your genes, and how much nutrition you get, but overall, if you use your muscles, they will grow.

How much will your child grow from these methods?  I don’t know – it will depend on your consistency and dedication, but I do know that your child’s brain is designed to learn, and they will respond to learning in a positive way and will learn faster when it’s in the form of a game.

I’m Feeling Overwhelmed – Where Do I Start?

Send us an email – we’re here to encourage you along your journey.  Sometimes feelings of overwhelm are a signal that you have urgent needs, such as your own health, to focus on before getting started.

Other times, it might mean you are getting in your own way with negative thoughts. Read chapters 5 and 6 to better understand your brain’s survival mechanisms and why we are prone to worry (especially as moms).

Then read chapter 10 to understand how to set more manageable goals, so you don’t get discouraged.  You are the right parent for your child – because God sent your children to you.

Building Better Brains is for parents who are striving to give their children real excellence.

…And that doesn’t happen in a day; go ahead and send us a message; we’re here to assist.
